Honeybush is indigenous and proudly South African that naturally grows on southern slope farmland in the Garden Route. It is a natural ingredient emanating from the rich biodiversity of our Cape Floral Kingdom. The indigenous Khoikhoi used the honeybush shrub to make a medicinal tea with a pleasant, mildly sweet taste and aroma.
Honeybush is mainly used as a herbal tea that is caffeine-free with high antioxidants and low tannins. Kaukou Honeybush is organically certified and is non-genetically modified. Honeybush is a value adding and natural ingredient that improves skin elasticity and has anti-ageing properties. It is high in antioxidants.
