Unrefined shea butter is butter extracted from shea trees, which are only grown in West Africa. Our unrefined shea butter is organic and raw, meaning it has not gone through any refining or chemical extraction processes. Our raw shea butter is extracted from well-processed shea kernels in a traditional way by a women's cooperative and then pressed with well-losing oil presses with high filtration.
