Aixway3D is a spinoff of the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (Fraunhofer ILT) in Germany. The Fraunhofer ILT is known for inventing the LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) technology, also known as SLM (Selective Laser Melting),  which is the dominant technology of 3D metal printing (≥80% market share). In addition to the conventional LPBF/SLM technology, Aixway also has the exclusive micron-level metal additive manufacturing technology Micro-LPBF/SLM, which can significantly optimize the accuracy (≥2 microns), the surface roughness (Ra≥0.8 microns) of the printed parts and achieve unsupported printing for various structures.
