Dry Bearings | DU Bushings
The SDU dry bearing is a maintenance-free bearing composed of a steel backing plate sintered with porous bronze powder. On top of this, a firmly bonded mixture of metallic, inorganic, and resin-based materials is applied, creating a surface where the lubricating layer directly contacts the sliding surface—resulting in low-friction dry lubrication.
This bearing is ideal for compact and lightweight applications where the use of lubricating oil is not feasible. It has been widely used across various industries for many years. However, it is not suitable for applications requiring high surface hardness in the bearing layer.
