Cast-in-place concrete: paving equipment, vibration equipment, placing machines, maintenance technology, steel fibres, wire mesh, expansion joints, etc., Flooring Design
Steel fiber reinforced concrete, as its name suggests, is concrete that has been reinforced with steel fibers. The fibers are added to the concrete at the ready-mix plant or on the jobsite. It is poured with the reinforcement inside. Unlike traditional reinforcement (rebar/mesh), steel fibers are relatively short, discontinuous elements that are randomly distributed throughout the concrete floor. As such, the fibers become part of the concrete matrix, turning it into a strong, ductile composite material.
