The A-B-A blown film machine, featuring two extruders of varying sizes, like 45mm and 55mm for T-shirt bags or 55mm and 65mm for garbage bags, offers versatility. The A-A outer layer, comprising 20% CaCO3, color masterbatch, LLDPE, and a higher HDPE percentage, enhances strength. The B layer allows for a larger CaCO3 percentage with HDPE, and in-house recycled pellets can be incorporated. This 3-layer film is 30% stronger than mono layer counterparts, reducing raw material usage. Economically superior, the ABA machine outperforms ABC three-layer counterparts due to its one extruder reduction.
