NEUMED, specializing in R&D of natural substances, was established in 2003 with a research team from Kyung Hee University's College of Korean Medicine. In accordance with the corporate philosophy of realizing universal health by using natural substances, we are constantly striving to develop food and pharmaceutical materials that combine functionality with safety. NEUMED has built iMED, an independent R&D platform for developing food and pharmaceutical materials, based on the experience of korean medicine accumulated over thousands of years. As a practical research result based on iMED, 5 individually approved functional ingredients were approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety(Korean FDA) including “Astragalus extract mixture(HT042),” the first and only approved functional ingredient for children's height growth in Korea. In the field of natural-substance-drugs, NEUMED received IND approval for phase 2 clinical trials for two cases including stroke treatment and idiopathic short stature treatment. Today, we are striving to become a global R&D company with endless investment in research for the development of new functional ingredients for food and drugs.
