Astragalus extract mixture(HT042) is the first and only individually approved functional ingredient in Korea known for helping children grow taller, jointly developed by NEUMED and Kyung Hee University research team for 10 years. (Standard: September, 2022) NEUMED confirmed a significant height growth compared to the control group in two double-blind trials for school-aged and pre-school-aged children. The increase in expression of growth proteins IGF-1, IGFBP-3 and bone morphogenetic protein BMP-2 were identified, along with the increase in growth rate of growth plate bone length. Astragalus extract mixture (HT042) is composed of safe raw materials that have traditionally been used for children. In addition, it was confirmed that there is no active action of sex hormone, which is the cause of precocious puberty.
