This universal, full-bore shut-off valve is designed for heat/cooling water and natural gas metering applications and is available in DN20 to DN40. With IP68 protection, it is suitable for demanding field environments and supports system platform monitoring and control, including remote battery status checks and an integrated real-time clock.
The valve can be operated as an M-Bus controlled on/off valve with remote valve positioning (open/close). A multicolor position indicator (green/red/blue) provides clear local status feedback. Depending on the configuration, the valve features a V-shaped stainless-steel or ceramic valve design with anti-blocking and anti-scaling functions for reliable operation and flexible opening. The design also helps minimize water hammer.
A 304 stainless-steel ball and full-bore construction ensure low pressure loss. The valve is powered by a replaceable on-site battery with 6–10 years lifetime. For installations requiring external power, an optional DC 24 V supply (10–24 V wide-voltage range) is available to reduce issues caused by voltage drops. The 24 V version additionally supports power-off valve control, allowing the valve to be set to open, close, or maintain its last state during a power outage.
