3S Pharmacological Consultation & Research performs clinical trials on contract for pharmaceutical companies. The trials performed are First in Human studies, Phase 2 and 3 studies, PK studies, BA/BE studies, drug-drug interaction, food interaction, gender specificity, etc.
Pharmaceutical forms for which studies are performed includes beside oral administered products also Transdermal Patches or other Transdermal Systems (gels cremes, ointments etc.), nasal applied gel or solutions intended for systemic effect, inhalers (asthm, BPOC), injectable products: s.c, i.m., e.v.. Kind of studies performed are clinical end point studies, PK studies, adhesion performance studies, skin tolerance, skin irritation and sensitization studies, palatability studies, etc.
For bio-similar products immunogenicity studies are also performed.
Studies performed by 3S Pharmacological are mainly performed in healthy volunteers (whenever this is permitted) or in patients.
Molecules for which studies are performed includes chemical entities new or already known, bio-similar products, new formulations.
